The Wicked Spud

Our Story

   Mike Broman and Steve Hogan established the Wicked Spud in Early 1999, after years of honing the craft at other restaurants located within the Wood River Valley. Throughout the years they were able to create an establishment that was inviting, cozy and all around family friendly.

   "The Spud" has TV's, a Pool Table, an outdoor Chess Set and plenty more to keep people of all ages entertained.

   With the creation of Wicked Wednesdays, the exclusive Spud Summer Live Music event, the eatery has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Recently, in 2025, Mike's son Alec Broman has taken over.
